Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Two years Animal Technician experience
  • One year supervisory responsibility
  • Valid driver's license with truck driving ability
  • Ability to wear respiratory protective equipment
  • Rotating weekend and holiday schedule availability

Nice-to-have

  • AALAS Certification at Assistant Laboratory Animal Technician level
  • Experience with wide range of animal species
  • Prior husbandry experience in research institution

Key Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must drive 1-ton lift gate truck with manual transmission
  • Background check required for access to vulnerable adults
  • US citizenship or lawful authorized non-US citizen status required
