ALG is hiring Class 5 Drivers to support Ground Support Equipment (GSE) operations for our esteemed client in the engineering and aviation sector. This is a 2-year contract role and strong potential for extension or conversion to a permanent position. Job Responsibilities:Drive and operate various airport vehicles and GSE units safely across facility grounds. Support the maintenance, repair and services of GSE equipment, airport vehicles and similar industrial equipment according to checklists and work instructions. Working on different systems such as Diesel/ Electronics/Hydraulics/Mechanical within the GSE equipment, airport vehicles. Assist technicians in identifying and resolving faults to ensure smooth operations and quick turnaround times. Carry out basic inspections, report defects, and perform light repairs as required. Maintain quality standards and safety compliance during all maintenance activities. Provide on-the-ground feedback to improve maintenance procedures and efficiency. Job Requirement:Valid Class 5 Driving License Nitec or equivalent qualification in automotive, mechanical, or technical trades preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive or related maintenance industry (ORD NS Drivers are welcome to apply). Team player with a strong sense of responsibility and initiative.
