Job Summary
The Senior Security Engineer will lead the design, development, and deployment of the bank's comprehensive data security suite including DLP and encryption.
This role requires managing incident response, coordinating change processes, and ensuring compliance with audit and regulatory requests within a dynamic operational environment.
Candidates will work within UOB Innovation Hub 2, a Centre of Excellence in Malaysia, supporting Group Business Services across the Asia Pacific region.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
7 to 9 years experience in data security
Hands-on implementation of DLP solutions
Experience with encryption and key management
Knowledge of ISO 27001 and NIST frameworks
Proficiency in Windows, Unix, Linux environments
Nice-to-have
CISSP or CISM professional certification
Experience with SIEM and threat intelligence
Familiarity with cloud platforms AWS Azure GCP
Background in forensic investigation
Strong communication with third-party vendors
Key Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Engineering, CS, IT, or Cyber Security
7 to 9 years relevant experience in data security technologies
Professional qualification such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH advantageous
