A Shop Helper assists the team by maintaining a clean, well-organized work area and performing fabrication prep duties while learning the basics of many other positions in the shop.
Use a variety of battery and pneumatic hand tools including grinders, welder, drill, & hammer drill Sandblasting Prep parts to be fabricated including wishing parts Drill holes and deburr parts Use welder to fabricate fittings Painting Shop clean up Operate forklift Help in every department as needed.
Majority of work is performed in a warehouse and manufacturing shop environment; exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, forklifts, and electricity in the manufacturing areas, noise level is usually moderate to high.
