Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
Perform EKGs, wound dressings, and minor surgical procedures
Collect and prepare laboratory specimens including phlebotomy
Document patient information in electronic medical record
Administer medications according to policy and procedure
Nice-to-have
Graduate of accredited 1-year certificate or 2-year diploma program
Minimum of 1 year related work experience preferred
Assists with orientation of new personnel
Inventory medical supplies and pharmaceuticals
Participate in patient safety and quality improvement programs
Key Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required
CMA or RMA certification required from NHA, AMT, AAMA, NAHP, NCCT, AAH, or AMCA
Basic Life Support Certification within 6 months
Preferred: Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program
Preferred: Minimum of 1 year related work experience
