Esri is seeking a Communications Manager to lead its media relations team, focusing on building relationships with various media outlets and developing communication strategies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in media relations and team management, alongside a strong understanding of GIS technology

Job Summary

  • Lead our in-house media relations team to identify, develop, and nurture strong relationships with editors and reporters for global, national, top tier, non-traditional media outlets and industry publications.
  • Serve as the main point of contact related to all public relations inquiries and activities, both inside and outside of Esri.
  • Work with the Influence Marketing leadership team to create a business plan identifying annual opportunities, objectives, budgets, and goals.

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, English, or related field
