  • Negotiating and drafting trading contracts
  • Supporting commodities business in EMEA
  • Managing legal and regulatory risks
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with commodity markets
  • Knowledge of shipping and loan documentation law
  • Familiarity with MiFID2 / MFIR regulations
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently or in a team

Key Requirements

  • Law degree from UK or English-speaking jurisdiction
  • Bar license in good standing
  • Significant transactional legal experience with derivatives and commodity trading documentation
  • Experience in an in-house regulated environment, ideally a US bank
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills
