Key Requirements
High school graduate or GED required
Security Officer Healthcare Certification (CHSO) within two years
Valid driver's license required
Firearm Owners Identification (FOID) or Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) license
Certified in Conducted Energy Weapon use within 90 days
Stop the Bleed Certification within one year
One year of experience in security or public safety
State of Illinois 20-hour Basic Security Officer course
