Job Summary

  • The Electrical, Controls and Instrumentation Engineer will be responsible for all the EC&I systems / components of the Ultimate Diesel Generators during the Installation and Commissioning of the equipment at the EDF Hinkley Point C site in Somerset.
  • Act as Senior Authorised Person / technical specialist informing overall guidance & advice to ensure project success.

Key Requirements

  • Degree/HNC level or equivalent in Electrical, Electronic or similar suitable Engineering subject
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical plant including switchgear, transformers, motors, generators, PLCs, Control systems and instrumentation equipment
  • Understanding of electrical systems associated with Emergency/Ultimate Generators
  • Understanding of Health and Safety and Environmental Legislation, CDM standards
  • Must be a UK national or, in MoD approved cases, a dual national
