Job Summary

  • The Lead Inventory Coordinator is tasked with supporting Operations teams to achieve daily/weekly production targets including facilitating any production deviations that may require re-prioritization of resources.
  • This role will champion inbound throughput and accuracy outbound DIFOT to achieve a high customer service levels thru the constant strive to receive and supply the right parts, to the right place, at the right time.
  • Rocket Lab is an end-to-end space company delivering responsive launch services, complete spacecraft design and manufacturing, payloads, satellite components, and more – all with the goal of opening access space.

  • Facilitate shared resource requirements for cycle counting
  • Ensure FIFO is managed and maintained
  • Maintain Stock point accuracy and resolve discrepancies
  • Drive Continuous Improvements and maintain SOPs
  • Maintain a tidy, orderly warehouse in accordance with 5s
  • Ensure health and safety policies are followed
  • Correct PPE is worn in designated areas
  • Near misses and incidents are reported promptly

Key Requirements

  • 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience independently performing complex duties
  • Proven experience managing 3-6 direct reports
  • Exposure to international shipping regulations (ITAR)
  • IATA / IMDG knowledge
  • Strong IT knowledge, comfortable with Windows
  • Experience with a fully integrated Enterprise Resource Planning system
