Must-have
Mechanical maintenance of power plant equipment
Operate machine shop equipment
Perform welding and brazing
Use blueprints and precision measuring devices
Follow safety and environmental regulations
Perform plumbing and pipe fitting tasks
Operate rigging for equipment installation
Nice-to-have
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Skill enhancement and training others
Basic computer skills including MS Office
Ability to work irregular or rotating shifts
Ability to respond to emergency callouts
Key Requirements
High school diploma or GED
Minimum 3 years mechanical maintenance experience
Associates degree or apprenticeship preferred
TDL (driver’s license) required
Ability to certify as a code welder
Knowledge of environmental regulations
Ability to work rotating shifts and emergency callouts
