• Medical Technologist prepares blood components for transfusion, including receiving, thawing, and allocating blood products.
• Technologists process specimens, perform ABO/RH typing, crossmatching, antibody screening and identification, and enter test results into the computer system.
• The department is staffed 24 hours per day, seven days a week, serving a very diverse patient population.
