Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Refrigerant-based HVAC system servicing
  • EPA Section 608 Certification Type II or Universal
  • TDLR Class B HVAC license
  • 3-5 years hands-on experience
  • Troubleshooting compressors and refrigerant circuits

Nice-to-have

  • Building automation systems BAS/BMS experience
  • NATE or HVAC Excellence certifications
  • System startup and commissioning support
  • Energy efficiency optimization knowledge
  • Computerized maintenance management systems CMMS

Key Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
