The Community Outreach Worker provides a range of clinical services including screening, assessment, and case management to adults and families affected by mental illness and substance use.
This role requires a high degree of independent practice with the ability to implement an evidenced-based plan of care using principles of harm reduction and psychosocial rehabilitation.

Salary
Base: $35.83 - $46.37 hourly; Developmental rate: $34.80 - $43.30 hourly; Benefits: Health, dental, travel, long-term disability, life insurance, and defined benefit pension plan
Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Bachelor of Social Work degree required
One year post BSW clinical experience in Mental Health
Screening and suicide risk assessment skills
Harm reduction and recovery-oriented practice knowledge
Motivational interviewing and group facilitation skills
Nice-to-have
French language competency preferred
Trauma informed care approach experience
Community development methods knowledge
Collaborative working relationship building
Crisis de-escalation abilities
