PBF Energy is seeking a Charge and Yield Accountant for their Paulsboro, NJ refinery, responsible for managing hydrocarbon accounting and reporting using Aspentech AORA software. The ideal candidate should have relevant accounting experience in a refinery or petrochemical environment, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail

Job Summary

  • Account for all hydrocarbon consumption, production, movement, inventory and balancing within the refinery boundary using Aspentech AORA/Advisor software.
  • Create and maintain a refinery model to reflect actual refinery configuration and execute daily procedures to populate the system and generate accurate reports.
  • Support Foreign Trade Zone reporting requirements and prepare EIA / governmental and other reports as assigned.

Key Requirements

  • Must be able to work a schedule that begins at 6am daily and some weekend work
  • Detail oriented, dependable, and work with minimal supervision
