  • The APP Educator is responsible for providing personalized education by designing, developing, implementing and evaluating classroom and clinical instruction to support the orientation, ongoing educational and professional development needs of Advanced Practice Providers including coordination of the Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship Program.
  • The APP Educator demonstrates expertise in staff education, advanced practice, care delivery and evidence-based practice.
  • Responsibilities include: staff orientation, class development, instructor/faculty for courses, new product and equipment in-service, unit based in-service, educational needs assessment and ongoing competency of staff, and coordination of the APP fellowship program.

  • Master of Science Degree in Nursing
  • 2 years of APP experience
  • Masters Prepared; Graduate of a PA-C program
  • Eligibility for State of Ohio licensure as a PA-C
  • 2-4 years of oncology experience preferred
