Job Summary

  • Tooling Mechanics will operate metal working equipment including saws, drill presses, benders, swaging machine, pressure test benches, vapor degreaser and/or aqueous degreaser, and a variety of hand tools.
  • Perform detailed quality checks to verify accuracy of manufactured products against fabrication drawings and details and to ensure all standards and requirements are met using equipment such as measuring equipment.
  • Trial fit and install tubes on production aircrafts and identify and report fit issues based on blueprints.

Key Requirements

  • 1+ year experience using tube bender
  • Experience with tubing system fabrication
  • Experience with toolmaker shop equipment
  • 1+ years Machinist or Tool Maker experience
  • Ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance
