Job Summary

• The Power Trading Contracts Operator role is key to building out bp’s Power business within the Trading & Shipping group, managing contractual exposures and ensuring all obligations are met across Japan and the wider APAC region.
• This role involves close coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders throughout the PPA deal lifecycle to support origination, trading, and operational activities while promoting a high standard of ethics and compliance.
• The position is Tokyo-based, reporting to the Power Contracts Manager in London, and requires a focused, project-oriented approach to contract management and risk mitigation to enable sustainable growth of the power portfolio.
