The Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) is a Level 1, mandatory Key Personnel position whose primary duty is to prepare, implement, and enforce the Contractor's safety program.
This role ensures full compliance with the US Army Corps of Engineers Safety and Health Requirements Manual, EM 385-1-1, and 29 CFR 1926.16.

Key Requirements
5 years of Construction Industry safety experience
OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety Certification
Current First Aid/CPR/AED Training
Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Health Physics, or Fire Prevention
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must possess passport book with at least 15 months of remaining validity
Must possess driver’s license with at least 6 months of remaining validity
