Job Summary
Provide code consulting services related to building code, fire code, and life safety compliance.
Lead and support firestopping strategy development, including rated assemblies, penetrations, joints, continuity of fire-resistance ratings, and installation compliance.
Interface with clients, authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs), and third-party reviewers.

Key Requirements
5–10 years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Diploma in Fire Protection Engineering Technology
Registered as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng) or eligibility for licensure is an asset
Strong working knowledge of NBCC and NFCC
Knowledge of UL/ULC, NFPA, and CSA standards
Eligibility to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
