Purchasing& Logistics Executive JobScope · Ensure competent quality execution of all regular purchasing duties and administrative works. · Maintain complete updated purchasing records/data and pricing in the system. · Co-ordinate with freight forwarders regarding shipment. · Coordinate with user departments and suppliers in the purchasing scope ofwork for projects assigned. · Assist in managing and following up overseas orders. · Handling and monitoring of claims to factories and vendors for defectives, shortage, missing parts. · Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery. · Responsible for the preparation and process purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures. · Purchase and issue order in accordance to specification. · Plan and manage inventory levels of materials or products. · Source for new parts, suppliers or sub-contractors when the need arises. A team player who possesses good interpersonal skills and excellent communications with all level of internal and external customers and suppliers Optimize inventory level while minimize stocks Coordinating and controlling the order cycle and maintaining proper records Handle all correspondences and liaising with the counterparts. Maintaining customer records. Receive and processes customer's orders, inquiries, and or complaints covering the products ordered. Processing invoices and delivery orders. Preparing quotations to customers. May handle multiple products and markets. Deals with external sources such as customers and suppliers Ad-hoc duties as assigned.
