Job Summary
Responsible for shooting and editing news stories for broadcast and operating video backpacks for live shots (TVU).
Must have experience with videography and editing, a sharp eye for visual storytelling, and a strong desire to own the big stories.
The News Photographer must be able to stand, sit, conduct telephone conversations, use email, write letters and memos, conduct face-to-face discussions with individuals or groups, make decisions without supervision, make decisions that impact the results of co-workers, work near others, work outdoors in all weather conditions, and work indoors in environmentally controlled conditions.
