Job Summary
The Department of Clinical Epidemiology is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for our patients, visitors, faculty and staff through preventing and controlling the spread of infection at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (OSUWMC).
The Lead IP collaborates with teams and individuals to create infection prevention strategies, provide feedback, and sustain infection prevention strategies.
The Lead IP consistently and reliably demonstrates professional expertise (and at times very advanced levels of mastery) in core competencies.

Key Requirements

At least two years of relevant experience

Certification in infection control (CIC)
Knowledge of epidemiology, infection prevention, infectious diseases and microbiology
