  • You will lead and execute development and validation of pedestrian to vehicle crash safety systems, holding responsibility for crashworthiness development of vehicle structure with an emphasis on vulnerable road users.
  • You will synthesize physical and virtual test results, work with global teams, and provide technical direction while working with multiple functional groups.
  • You will be responsible for global regulations, homologation, certification, and compliance confirmation, including documentation for regulatory witness agencies and the vehicle type-approval process.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • 4+ years of virtual CAE analysis and physical testing
  • Working knowledge of Unigraphics Nx, TeamCenter, VisMockup
  • Working knowledge of LS-DYNA, Primer, Metapost, ANSA, CORA
  • Working knowledge of VRU CAE simulation analysis
  • Knowledge of VRU requirements (legal, global consumer metric/NCAP)
  • Working knowledge of GM Global Vehicle Development Process (GVDP)
