The primary purpose of this job is to assist in administering medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of nursing leadership.
Essential duties include accurately preparing, administering, and documenting medications, observing residents for ingestion or application, and reporting any errors or reactions promptly.
The role requires maintaining resident confidentiality, participating in quality assurance programs, and cooperating with facility surveys and inspections.
