Job Summary

  • The primary purpose of this role is to assist in administering medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of nursing staff and the Director of Nursing Services.
  • Essential duties include accurately and safely preparing, administering, and documenting medications, as well as following facility policies for medication handling, destruction, and error reporting.
  • The position requires maintaining a friendly, productive working relationship with other members of the nursing department and participating in quality assurance programs to improve the medication process.
