About the role Wharton Preschool Pte Ltd is seeking passionate and experienced Infant/Toddler Educators to join our team on a part-time or full-time basis. As an Infant/Toddler Educator, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality early childhood education and care to our youngest learners in the Sembawang North Region. What you'll be doing Identify How Children (Birth to Age 3) Learn and Develop Assist in Planning and Implementing Developmentally Appropriate Teaching, Learning and Caregiving Approaches Aligned to Curriculum Frameworks Assist in Observation and Documentation of Children’s Learning Assist in Integrating Respectfulness, Responsiveness and Reciprocity within the Curriculum Assist in Setting up Quality Learning Environments Display Sensitivity to Each Child’s Needs (within a Group Setting) through Respectful, Responsive and Reciprocal Interactions and Relationships with Children Support Children’s Development of Secure Attachments through Warm, Consistent and Nurturing Caregiving (Infant/Toddler Educarer, Beginning Educarer) Adhere to Health, Safety, Nutritional and Hygiene Standards and Procedures (Infant/Toddler Educarer, Beginning Educarer) Collaborate with Colleagues to Foster Positive Workplace Relations (Infant/Toddler Educarer, Beginning Educarer) Communicate and Relate Effectively at the Workplace Demonstrate Understanding of the Centre’s Vision, Mission and Values (Infant/Toddler Educarer, Beginning Educarer) What we're looking for WSQ Higher Certificate in Infant Care (HCIC) or Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY) Minimum 1 year of experience working with infants and/or toddlers in a childcare setting Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching/caregiving practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children and their families Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for early childhood education Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedica
