Job Summary
This position functions as a scrub nurse in the Labor & Delivery operating rooms while providing patient care to adults and normal newborns under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse.
The role requires maintaining a safe and aseptic environment, performing accurate sponge and instrument counts, and anticipating surgeon needs during surgical procedures.
Employees are expected to adhere to National Patient Safety Goals, participate in performance improvement processes, and serve as preceptors for new staff and students.

Typing skills preferred but not required
Willingness to accept direction from nursing staff
Ability to work effectively with other departments
