Job Summary
As a Pathology Technician you will gain experience grossing biopsy specimens.
You will also verify patient information submitted on protocol vs. specimen container, evaluate and decide according to the submitted clinicians diagnosis the proper orientation of the specimen including inking of margins and choosing the appropriate dissection procedure for each specimen and dictating specimens’ gross description using glossaries and the MModal voice recognition system.
