Job Summary
The FBC Scrub Tech plays a critical role in supporting the surgical team during obstetric procedures, including cesarean sections and other related surgeries.
This position involves preparing and maintaining a sterile environment, assisting surgeons and nurses with the setup of surgical instruments, and ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available and sterile before and during procedures.
Assists the surgeon with application of wound dressings and performs scrub activities utilizing accepted aseptic principles and following established hospital and surgical services department policies and procedures.
