Job Summary

• The VP, Head of Neuropsychiatry Clinical Development is accountable for strategic leadership and oversight of all Neuropsychiatry related clinical programs and clinical development activities from Phase 2b through the end of Phase 3.
• This patient-focused team helps address some of the most complex diseases of our time, including multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and schizophrenia.
• The role requires a strategic thinker with strong people management skills, including demonstrated people development, and is responsible for building and maintaining a top-quality clinical research unit.

$258,000 to $476,100 base pay; Annual performance bonus; Eligible for long-term incentive program

Key Requirements

• MD or equivalent, MD/PhD a plus
• Board Certification in Psychiatry preferred
• 15+ years professional experience
• 10+ years in pharmaceutical R&D
• Experience in late phase study design, execution, interpretation, and regulatory filings
• Leadership role in a multifunctional R&D organization
• Experience in a global multi-functional R&D matrix organization
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices
• Thorough knowledge of drug development process
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical portfolio risk management
• Knowledge of global regulatory authority procedures
