Job Summary

  • Undertake maintenance of Yorkshire Waters Electrical and Mechanical assets across wastewater treatment and pumping installations.
  • Mobile working as part of a Maintenance Team to deliver Planned & Reactive maintenance, responding to emergency calls both in and out of hours (on call-out rota).
  • We are offering a competitive starting salary of £40,110. A Company van (mobile worker). Annual incentive related bonus (£1000 maximum bonus opportunity for the performance year).

  • Work unsupervised in remote locations
  • Adhere to Health and Safety policy

  • Build and maintain relationships
  • Pro-actively identify and report follow on work

Key Requirements

  • Recognised Electrical Craft/Technician Apprenticeship
  • City & Guilds/ ONC/ BTEC/ NVQ/ HNC/ HND or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Eng Tech
  • Full valid driving licence (with no more than six points)
  • Safe isolation to the current IET regulations
  • Time served industrial electrician experience
  • Fault finding on control circuits up to the PLC
  • IT literate e.g., MS office
  • Ability to produce maintenance reports
  • Experience of fault finding with industrial motors and starters
  • Experience fault finding with industrial 3 phase systems
  • Experience working with rotating equipment
  • Experience of fault finding on LV control circuits
