Remote is seeking an Engineering Team Leader to manage a small team of engineers while actively participating in product development. The ideal candidate will have strong management experience, technical skills in frontend or backend development, and a commitment to fostering team dynamics and innovation

Job Summary

  • Managing a small product team of 3-5 engineers (backend and frontend) with 30% of the time spent on management work.
  • Responsible for all the work of a team and the spokesperson for everyone in it, managing team dynamics and bringing out the best in everyone.
  • Redesign how engineering work ships with autonomous agents as the default execution layer, proposing and operationalizing agentic workflows end-to-end.

Key Requirements

  • Managed an engineering team of at least 2 people
  • Extensive experience with Frontend (React, JS, ES6 and Jest) or Backend (Elixir/Phoenix)
  • Strong engineering fundamentals
  • Practical experience designing or adopting agentic/automation workflows
  • Ability to think in systems
  • Solid communication skills
  • Solid knowledge of engineering and development principles
  • Proven organizational skills
