Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants in accordance with federal, state, and local standards.
Administer medications, transcribe physician orders, chart nurses' notes, and perform various nursing care functions including catheterization, tube feedings, and wound care.
Participate in staff development, safety and sanitation, equipment and supply management, and care plan development to ensure high-quality resident care.
