Job Summary
The VP Strategy and Business Development Lead will own the articulation and initial execution of the business development strategy for a subset of companies within the Flagship Pioneering ecosystem, with the primary objective to drive the closing of valuable business development deals between platform companies and Pharma.
Responsibilities include driving the development of business development strategy for portfolio companies, collaborating across multiple areas of the business to understand platform technology, and framing the BD action plan including data generation for validation and partnership scopes.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 years' industry experience with a demonstrated track record of business development and corporate strategy leadership, and an advanced degree (PhD, MD) is strongly preferred.
