Job Summary
The Intermediate Clinical Billing Specialist is responsible for timely and accurate management of payer rejections in the clearinghouse, claim edits in EPIC, and ensuring claims go out to the payer within timely filing deadlines with a goal of clean claim submission.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Associate's degree in a related field plus two (2) years of experience in a healthcare revenue cycle related function
High School diploma/GED plus four (4) years of experience in a healthcare revenue cycle related or bookkeeping function
Six (6) months of medical billing experience preferred
Basic understanding of CPT and ICD 10
Familiarity with the Windows environment and billing software
Basic understanding of HCPCS coding
EPIC experience is also a plus
