Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Associate's degree in a related field plus two (2) years of experience in a healthcare revenue cycle related function
  • High School diploma/GED plus four (4) years of experience in a healthcare revenue cycle related or bookkeeping function
  • Six (6) months of medical billing experience preferred
  • Basic understanding of CPT and ICD 10
  • Familiarity with the Windows environment and billing software
  • Basic understanding of HCPCS coding
  • EPIC experience is also a plus
  • Proof of legal authority to work in the United States
