Job Summary
The QC Analyst will support Chemistry and Microbiological product testing and environmental monitoring for Drug Product and Drug Substance manufacture at Alexion Athlone.
You will be responsible for investigating out of specification results using structured problem-solving tools and implementing effective corrective actions within specified lead times.
The role requires maintaining high cGMP and GLP standards while performing routine tasks with a minimum of supervision and ensuring all safety requirements are adhered to.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
BSc Hons in biosciences with 3 years experience
Working knowledge of cGMP in QC laboratory
Experience with gLIMs software systems
Strong technical writing and report writing skills
Ability to follow written SOPs accurately
Nice-to-have
Experience in Chemistry HPLC and UV techniques
Experience in microbiological techniques
Structured Problem Solving and Root Cause Analysis
Continuous improvement initiative implementation
Representing department in internal and external audits
