Job Summary
The primary purpose of this position is to promote highway safety through training and monitoring.
This position administers the Third-Party Testing program including certification of third-party testers and examiners and monitors the testing activities through analysis of data collected through audit reports, monthly reports, and DOT Information Technology.
This position is responsible for keeping the issuance of commercial driver licenses in compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations as these pertain to the Commercial Motor Vehicle Safety Act which was passed by the United States Congress in 1986.
