  • As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the Emergency Department, you will use your extensive knowledge and expertise to assist with timely, effective and efficient care.

  • Perform all IV skills including starts
  • Document medications on MAR

Key Requirements

  • Graduate of accredited Practical or Vocational Nursing Program
  • Current Florida licensure as LPN
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within one year
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within one year
  • IV Therapy Certificate within three months
  • Knowledge of infection control practices
  • Knowledge of quality improvement practices
  • One year acute care experience OR three years long-term care experience
  • Previous Emergency Department experience
