Job Summary
The Medical Laboratory Scientist I in the Cytogenetics Laboratory will be responsible for performing a broad range of testing in Cytogenetics Wet Lab and Analysis, including processing specimens, cell culture, chromosome analysis, imaging, karyotyping, and reporting.
The position requires performing daily, weekly, and monthly QC and preventative maintenance, maintaining safe work practices, and following all regulatory requirements and procedures.

Key Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences, Medical Technology, Biology or an ASCP approved discipline
ASCP Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS), Medical Technologist (MT), or Cytogenetics (CG) passed within 12 months of eligibility
BSMT or BSMLS degree in Cytogenetics
Previous clinical laboratory experience
Previous Cytogenetics experience
ASCP in Cytogenetics
