The Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC) is seeking a Senior Research Software Engineer to lead the design, development, and operational support of cloud-based computational tools. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in a related field, extensive experience in software development, and a strong background in formal methods and AI/ML applications

Job Summary

  • This position will play a leading role in researching the design, implementation and operation of cloud-based platforms delivering computational tools to the research computing community.
  • Responsibilities include leading and contributing to the design, development, and operational support of core components of the Tapis API platform, advancing scientific and engineering research workflows, and exploring emerging technologies.
