Key Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • AALAS Assistant Laboratory Animal Technician (ALAT) certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • Must be able to obtain State of Texas class C vehicle driver license within 30 days
  • Successful completion of a formal Laboratory Animal Science Course may substitute for three months of experience
