Job Summary
The Director of Staff Development is responsible to plan and implement facility orientation, job skills training, in-service education, and a Certification Training Program for nursing assistants as required by regulations.
The DSD also provides direct resident/patient care and coordinates the infection control surveillance program.
The role requires planning and conducting in-service education programs for staff to assure competency in new skills and to maintain the highest degree of quality care.
