Job Summary

  • The Patient Registrar is responsible for interviewing the patient to collect required registration data and entering patient information into Hospital Information System.
  • Maintains a thorough understanding of the Registration modules in the Hospital Information System and Document Imaging System in order to pre-register and register patients and well as being able to correct or update database to reflect changes in patient status, patient transfer, newborn admissions, and discharges.
