Job Summary

  • Review statistical forecasts and recommend adjustments as necessary, gathering information and collaborating with Marketing, Sales, Finance, and other functions to identify events and drivers of demand.
  • Incorporate customer- and market-driven events not captured by the statistical model using representative sales history and modeling techniques, creating forecast scenarios using product history, past event data, customer/market analysis, cannibalization, substitution, and other relevant parameters.
  • Enable SC PLAN Team to meet or improve service and inventory targets by enhancing forecast accuracy and related measures for the portfolio, providing demand inputs to the S&OP / IBP process to ensure transparency of risks and opportunities.
