Job Summary

  • Performs maintenance and repair of facilities and mechanical equipment in a professional manner under the direct supervision of Journeyman Mechanic or higher-level craftsman.
  • Repairs and maintains, in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications, machinery and mechanical equipment using hand tools, power tools, and precision-measuring and testing instruments.
  • Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment.
