Key Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year(s) experience as a Wind Technician or Wind Mechanic OR Minimum of 2 years of work experience inclusive of hydraulic, electrical, and experience using basic power hydraulic tools
  • Passing a Technical Knowledge Assessment
  • basic computer skills
  • valid driver’s license
  • Ability and willingness to lift repetitive weight of up to 45 lbs. unassisted and climb towers of 300+ feet regularly
  • Meet specified manufacturer weight limits not to exceed 300lbs including required gear
  • Understand electrical schematic drawings, technical manuals, procedures, and regulations
  • Flexibility to work rotating shift schedules, and on-call per site needs
