Job Summary
The Surgical Tech II assists the surgical team and performs a variety of tasks in an operating room, preparing, sterilizing, and cleaning surgical equipment and instruments.
This intermediate to advanced level position is generally assigned a triad of difficult surgical/operative procedures requiring proficient/advanced knowledge, skills, and the ability to adapt.
Responsibilities include adhering to all safety standards, applying aseptic technique, remaining attentive during procedures, and maintaining communication with the circulating nurse.
