• Responsible for underwriting mortgage loans including government loans to ensure acceptability with M&T Bank and investor standards while adhering to Federal SAFE Act requirements.
• Works closely with internal staff and external customers to expedite loan approvals and closings while maintaining compliance with federal and state laws.
• Maintains internal control standards and keeps current on changes in investor and M&T guidelines to ensure loan saleability and sound credit quality.
