Job Summary
Phlebotomist I is responsible for accurate collection and handling of patient laboratory specimens for diagnostic testing according to established best practice in a manner that enhances patient and caregiver engagement.
The Phlebotomist I perform specimen collection using many different techniques such as venipuncture, capillary puncture, PIVO, and throat swab collections.
This position requires organizational skills, as well as the ability to navigate multiple computer systems, work well as a member of a team, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
